Denise's specialties are community documentary, socio-political commentary and photography used in a therapeutic context. This is a hands on workshop for those at a intermediate to advanced level, who want to work with high resolution images and have an interest in exploring the stories photographs can tell, with a view to creating a more lasting project with their own photographic work. The aim is to understand the context in which photographs are taken, how they are used to illustrate stories and how to present the work; with an introduction to self-publishing, editing images to print, the design and creation of a photo book, exhibition series, or presentation, of a personal piece of work

Im Kurs „Türkisch-Konversation für Anfänger/innen“ liegt der Schwerpunkt auf dem gesprochenen Türkisch: den Wortschatz zu erweitern und die Sprechfähigkeit zu verbessern. Durch viele praktische Wortschatzübungen, kommunikative Spiele, Redemittel und Mini-Dialoge mit Blick auf alltagstypische Situationen, z.B. Einkaufen, Wohnen, Restaurantbesuch, sich verabreden, Uhrzeiten nennen und verstehen, Auskünfte einholen und geben, usw. entwickeln die Studierenden ein Gefühl für die türkische Sprache.
