Together, we’ll practice how to approach companies and make a strong impression. If you like, you can attend the Talent Transfair at HAW Kiel on 11 November together with the group on the day of the fair.

Starting university in a new country can be exciting, but it can also bring challenges. This interactive workshop invites international students to explore topics of diversity, inclusion, and discrimination in an open and respectful environment. Together, we will reflect on different perspectives, share experiences (if you wish), and discuss how diversity shapes everyday life at HAW Kiel. The workshop also introduces the role of the Diversity Officer and the support services available for students who have experienced discrimination or have questions about equal opportunities and inclusion. Whether you would like to learn more about your rights, connect with fellow students, or simply listen to others' experiences, you are warmly welcome. The session aims to create a safer space for dialogue, mutual understanding, and empowerment. No prior knowledge is required, and participation in discussions is always voluntary.

Our interactive training Intercultural Collaboration offers practical insights into the following topics: • Intercultural communication – how can mutual understanding be achieved? • Working in intercultural teams – how can we collaborate effectively and respectfully? • Unconscious bias – how do unconscious patterns shape our behavior, and how can we deal with them consciously? • Navigating different work environments in Germany Through interactive methods, peer exchange, and hands-on exercises, you’ll discover how to use cultural diversity as a resource – to collaborate more effectively in your studies, navigate daily life with confidence, and prepare for a successful start to your career.

Giving presentations convincingly and confidently is a key factor to success. How do you best use your body and voice to captivate your audience? Which tools, media, and methods can help you to authentically present your topic on your own "stage"? In this training, you learn how to prepare your presentations so they are structured and lively and how to perform confidently in front of your audience. You work on measures to handle stage fright and are given the possibility to practice everything on a personal example.
