Day 1: Selbstreflexion mit SWOT-Analyse, Networking-Techniken für Karrierechancen und interkulturelle Kommunikation mit Fokus auf Irland. Day 2: Präsentationstraining mit zwei Praxisrunden und Feedback, um den eigenen Auftritt zu optimieren. Teilnehmende erkunden ihre Stärken, Karriereziele und Strategien, um diese zu erreichen. Die Teilnahme an beiden Tagen wird mit 0,5 ECTS belohnt.

Participants will need to have a working knowledge of cameras, but only need to bring a good quality laptop/tablet to work on. Denise's specialties are community documentary, socio-political commentary and photography used in a therapeutic context. This is a hands on workshop for those at a intermediate to advanced level, who want to work with high resolution images and have an interest in exploring the stories photographs can tell, with a view to creating a more lasting project with their own photographic work. The aim is to understand the context in which photographs are taken, how they are used to illustrate stories and how to present the work; with an introduction to self-publishing, editing images to print, the design and creation of a photo book, exhibition series, or presentation, of a personal piece of work

What is 'life writing'? Life writing uses lived experiences as a starting point for a fictional work. It might take the form of a story or a play, a poem or a song, a blog or a personal essay. You might take an element of a lived event or perhaps something from your family's history; it could be an event you witnessed or simply overhead. You'll be free to experiment, changing characters' names and the setting. What's true and what's invented only you, the writer, will know!
